Annapurna Base Camp Trek (ABC) is also known as Annapurna Sanctuary Trek. The spectacular panoramic views of the peaks like Machapuchare (6,993 m), Mt. Annapurna I (8,091 m), Mt. Annapurna II (7,939 m), Mt. Annapurna III (7,555 m), Mt. Annapurna IV (7,525 m), Mt. Lamjung Himal (6,986 m), Mt. Hiuchuli (6,441 m), and other small and high Himalayan peaks can be seen during this trek. Natural hot spring can be the other attraction of this trek.
Throughout the trek to the Annapurna Sanctuary we are blessed with the outstanding panoramas of the high peaks to the north and the contrast of the rice-fields and villages with the snow peaks above, making for very picturesque trekking indeed. The ABC trek is garnished when we make a trek to Poon Hill, a scenic viewpoint, while returning from the base camp. From Poonhill, the dawn views of Dhaulagiri and nearby Tukuche Peak are legendary.
