This is another most exceptional trekking site placed north of Kathmandu in the middle of the Great Himalayan range on the Tibetan border and is within easy access. This region abounds in natural and cultural blending. Several vegetation and endangered animal species including Himalayan red Panda, Pika, Musk deer, Himalayan black bear, common langur etc. are found here.
This site has been identified as the alluring holiday destination among tourists forms every corner of universe. Helambu, situated north of Kathmandu, offers cast potentials for trekkers with many scenic villages inhabited by Sherpa and Tamanga. Gosaikunda, a glacier lake, is the most famous one with several other glacier lakes adjoining it.
Gosaikunda loop is quite remote and thinly populated area. This is a journey with numerous highlights, stunning view of Ganesh Himal, Manasalu and Annapurna massif as far as you can see. Tamang people living here, physically and culturally closely resemble to Tibet inhabitants and their unique lifestyle is still thriving under their traditional attitude. Abundant wildlife, intense forests teeming with wild flowers and bird species, model villages are its drawing traits. This all helps to ensure your trek particularly attractive in the spring time.

Day 1: Arrival
Day 2: Free day in Kathmandu & trek preparations
Day 3: Start of the trek by drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche around 5 hours. After reaching the spot we will settle down and rest at the Hotel.
Day 4: After breakfast we will start our trek by walking from Dhunche to Lauribinayak (nice village with Cheese factory). The trek will take approx. 4 hours
Day 5: The trek from Lauribinayak to Gosaikunda Lake will take about 5 hours.
Day 6: Gosaikunda – Ghopte odar (cave) 5-6 hrs
Day 7: Ghopte – Melamchi village. 4-5 hrs
Day 8: Melamchi – Kathmandu drive by private jeep.
Day 9: Rest day in Kathmandu
Day 10: Departure
