Langtang Valley Trek

Overview

This is another most exceptional trekking site placed north of Kahtmandu in the middle of the Great Himalayan range on the Tibetan border and is within easy access. This region abounds in natural and cultural blending. Several vegetation, endangered animal species including Himalayan red Panda, Pika, Muntjank, Musk deer, Himalayan black bear, common langur etc. are found here.

This site has been identified as the alluring holiday destination among tourists forms every corner of universe. Helambu, situated north of Kathmandu, offers cast potentials for trekkers with many scenic villages inhabited by Sherpa and Tamanga. Gosaikunda, a glacial lake, is the most famous one with several other glacial lakes adjoining it.

Day 1: Arrival

Day 2: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,450 m)

Day 3: Syabrubesi to Sherpa Gaun (3,000 m)

Day 4: Sherpa Gaun to Thangsyap (3,200 m)

Day 5: Thangsyap to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 m)

Day 6: Kyanjin Gompa to Langshisa Valley (4,100 m) and back to Kyanjin Gompa

Day 7: Kyanjin Gompa to Tsergo Ri (5,033 m) and back to Kyanjin Gompa

Day 8: Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2,480 m)

Day 9: lama Hotel to Syabrubesi (1,450 m)

Day 10: Syabrubesi to Kathmandu

Day 11: Rest day in Kathmandu

Day 12: Departure
