Overview

At 6654 meters Mera Peak is the highest of the trekking peaks in Nepal. When this is combined with the fact that it offers unparalleled views and stunning panoramas it makes this trekking peak one of the most sought after mountaineering trips in Nepal. Mera Peak is never particularly technically difficult, but there is the altitude to contend with which makes this an exciting and challenging trip.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Lukla by flight & trek to Chutanga (3060 m)

Day 4: Acclimatization day in Chuanga

Day 5: Cross Zatrwa La (4,610 m) and trek to Thuli Kharka (4,200 m)

Day 6: Trek from Thuli Kharka to Tashi Dingma (3,520 m)

Day 7: Trek from Tashi Dingma to Tagnag (4,350 m)

Day 8: Acclimatization day in Tagnag

Day 9: Trek from Tagnag to Khare (5,100 m)

Day 10: Trek from Khare to high camp (5,800 m)

Day 11: Summit the Mera Peak (6,654 m) and back to high camp

Day 12: Extra day for summit in case of any weather or physical condition

Day 13: Trek down to Tagnag

Day 14: Trek from Taganag to Tashi Ongma (3,600 m)

Day 15: Trek from Tashi Ongma to Thuli Kharka

Day 16: Trek from Thuli Kharka to Lukla

Day 17: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu

Day 18: Rest Day in Kathmandu
